Children's chance to catch a rainbow trout!

Our ever-popular children’s fishing events are back for 2022!
Children between the ages of 6 and 14 years get to catch a rainbow trout at Eastern Fish & Game’s specially built facility and be expertly tutored and guided by members of the Rotorua Anglers Association.
Our fish-out pond is well stocked with feisty 2-year-old rainbow trout, so your catch is guaranteed!
Catch a tagged trout win and you win a spin fishing outfit sponsored by Kilwell Sports.
Participants MUST book in advance. A small donation is requested to help run the program.
Bookings for each session will be available from this page approximately 1 month before the event date.
