Family fishing day at Lake Lyndon

The Water and Wildlife Habitat Trust, in conjunction with North Canterbury Fish and Game Council, invite you and your family to a unique opportunity for a family fun day’s fishing on the shores of Lake Lyndon.

Held at the top of Porters Pass (SH73) from 9am to noon on Sunday March 4, Fish & Game will release rainbow trout for this event.

Kids—you can weigh your catch in until noon with category prizes awarded. A free sausage sizzle will be available at the Fish & Game tent.

Please make sure you buy your family and junior licences prior to the day, either in-store, at one of our licence agencies or online.

Children under 12 years-old will be issued with their free licence on the day.
