Fin & Feather 8 Week Education Program

When: Mondays 3.30pm - 5.00pm from 9th February - 30th March

Where: The Game Park 22a Burness Road Jervoistown Napier

Cost: No cost to attend this course but some costs involved in the clay shooting experience. 

This program is designed to give juniors a taste of what’s involved in harvesting wild kai through fishing and hunting. Each week will provide an overview of what’s involved in fishing & game bird hunting. Course involves a mix of theory and practical activities. Students will then be able to move into more comprehensive courses on their preferred activity.

Freshwater Fishing overview and safety

Spin Fishing Basics

Fly Fishing Introduction

Game Bird Hunting

Firearms Safety (Delivered by NZ Firearms Safety Authority)

Clay Target Shooting experience
