Nova Energy lowering Lake Aniwhenua for Weed Control

Eastern region Fish & Game would like to advise anglers and hunters that Nova Energy (on behalf of Southern Generation Partnership) will be lowering Lake Aniwhenua in accordance with resource consent 20190 (section 2.3) for the purpose of weed control.
Nova Energy's current plan is to lower the lake by up to two metres on Friday 6th April and then refill on Wednesday 11th April.
The amount of time required to refill the lake will be dependent on river inflows and the consent conditions for minimum release.
