Novice adult beginner spin fishing classes

The Otago Fish & Game Council will be running a FREE novice adult beginner spin fishing class before the start of the 2017/18 fishing season.
The things that will be covered are licences, regulations, species of fish, rods, bait, knots, where to go etc. Then there will be a field trip to the Southern Reservoir to try your luck at catching a fish for dinner.
Round up a group or bring your partners along for the fun!
Pre-registration is required (maximum of 12 people per class) so if you are interested please contact Steven Dixon - Ph 021 190 0711 or s.dixon@fish-game.org.nz before the 4th of September 2017.
Dates:
Thursday 7th September (Theory Class 1) - 6.30pm – 8.30pm held at the Otago Fish & Game Council office, Cnr Hanover & Harrow St, Dunedin.
Friday 8th September (Theory Class 2) - 6.30pm – 8.30pm held at the Otago Fish & Game Council office, Cnr Hanover & Harrow St, Dunedin.
Saturday 9th September Field trip (both classes) 3pm – 4.30pm at the Southern Reservoir
All the fishing equipment (rods and lures) will be provided.
