Student Fishing Course

Calling all students from year 9-13 who want to learn about fly fishing for Trout. 

This four week course being run from the Fish & Game Farm in Jervoistown will teach students the basics of spin & fly fishing for Trout. 

Subjects covered will include

• Where to do Trout live & what do they eat

• Trout species
• Types of Trout fishing
• Knot, Rig and Fly tying
• Casting Spin & Fly
• Netting & Handling a Fish
• Catch & release techniques
• How to dispatch a fish
• Filleting, preparing & smoking fish

Held every Tuesday through May from 4pm-5pm at the Fish & Game Farm 22a Burness Road Jeroistown

Cost $49 per student. Spaces limited to 8 per course
